Emily Richardson

President

Emily is a senior music education major. She was elected as treasurer in 2017 and served for two years in this position. After that she was elected as president for the 2019-2020 school year. She enjoys Douglas Adams novels, likes her coffee black, and loves this fraternity and this band program with all her heart. 

Morgan Glickler

Vice President

Morgan is a junior biology major with a focus in pre-dental. Morgan was elected into office in 2018 and was then re-elected for the 2019 - 2020 term. Before becoming our VP Morgan was a member of the ritual committee and through her time and experience as a brother found a love for membership education.

Margarita Torres

Service Coordinator

Margarita is a sophomore musice education major. Margarita was elected for the Spring semester of 2020. Before acting as our current service coordinator she was a member of our service committee. She has had the passion for helping others since she was a membership candidate.

Katherine Hughes

Secretary

Katherine is a sophomore  major at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. She was elected by her peers for this current school term because of her attentiveness to detail and passion for serving our chapter.

Adin Allison

Treasurer

Adin is a sophomore business major at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. Adin was elected by his peers for his fresh perspective on fundraising opportunities and the efforts he puts into perfecting ways to manage and spend money effectively shown through previous experience

Anthony Trevon Allen

Parliamentarian

Anthony Allen is a sophomore music education major at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. Anthony was previously a part of the constitution committee and enjoyed helping edit the constitution he made it his goal to further his services to the chapter by becoming parliamentarian. He was elected into office for the 2019 - 2020 school term.

Hope Morriss

Historian

Hope is a junior music education major at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. Hope was elected for the in 2018 and was re-elected for the current term 2019 - 2020.

Hannah Johnson

Chaplain

Hannah is a sophomore international business major with a music minor. She was elected as chaplain for the 2019-2020 school year. She loves being able to serve this fraternity and the band program in any way she can. Her passion for music is only surpassed by her passion for people and for God.

Dr. Nils Landsberg

Chapter Sponsor & Director of Bands

Dr. Nils Landsberg is the Associate Director of Instrumental Studies and an Assistant Professor of Music at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor.  He conducts the UMHB Wind Ensemble and is director of the UMHB Jazz Ensemble and the Blackshirt Cru Spirit Band. In addition to his ensemble duties, Dr. Landsberg teaches courses in Instrumental Conducting and Wind and Orchestral Literature.

The UMHB Bands, under Dr. Landsberg's leadership, have performed locally, nationally, and internationally.  The UMHB Wind Ensemble will be embarking on its first international tour in March of 2018.  The UMHB Jazz Ensemble has visited China on two occassions and has performed in Guilin, Wuhan, Chongqing, Suzhou, and Shanghai.

Prior to his appointment at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, Dr. Landsberg served as a Graduate Assistant for the Oklahoma State University band program, where he conducted the University Brass Ensemble, guest conducted the Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, and Concert Band, and served as a drill designer, arranger, and instructor for the Cowboy Marching Band and the Oklahoma State University Spirit Band.

Dr. Landsberg has studied conducting with Dr. Joseph Missal, Dr. D. Brad Snow, Dr. Paul Popiel, and Dr. Douglas Nimmo.  He has conducted for Craig Kirchoff, Steven Davis, Danny Schmidt, Jack Stamp, Michael Colgrass, and Bud Beyer at various conducting seminars and symposia.  Dr. Landsberg holds a Bachelors of Arts in Music from Gustavus Adolphus College and a Masters of Music in Wind Conducting Pedagogy and Performance from Oklahoma State University.

Dr. Landsberg taught in the public schools of Minnesota for five years.  During his tenure at Brooklyn Center High School and Mora High School, his ensembles consistently received superior ratings at regional and state contests.  Many of Dr. Landsberg’s students were selected to perform with various honor groups throughout the state, including the Minnesota Music Educators Association’s All-State Ensembles.

Dr. Landsberg is active as a drill designer, clinician, adjudicator, and guest conductor.  His professional affiliations include the College Band Directors National Association, the National Association for Music Education, Texas Music Educators Association, Texas Bandmasters Association, Texas Jazz Educators Association, Pi Kappa Lambda, Kappa Delta Pi, and he is an honorary member of the Mu Lambda chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi.
